Following their promotion, Olly Dawes Wrexham is looking to add players, and Phil Parkinson seems to have his eye on a familiar face.
Although Wrexham has let several players go this summer, no new contract has been agreed to by the team.
Since players like Aaron Hayden and Ben Tozer have already joined other teams, center backs are desperately needed.
Luke Young also left this summer, thus Wrexham needs to sign some quality midfield players.
Thanks to the excellent engine room that Andy Cannon, George Evans, and Elliot Lee form, Phil Parkinson may choose from a strong midfield trio.
But with a significant step up to League One ahead of them, Wrexham needs more midfield alternatives.

Marc Leonard of Brighton & Hove Albion is the first, and Wrexham is interested in a £300,000 trade.
Given rival interest in Leonard, that deal won’t be simple, but Wrexham does have other plans.
According to reports, Wrexham is still considering signing Jamie Lindsay, a former Celtics star.
Lindsay was targeted by Wrexham in January, however a move fell through prior to the transfer deadline.
After confirming that he will not be signing a new contract with Rotherham United, Lindsay has officially departed the Millers.
Wrexham will undoubtedly be eager to close a deal now after being so eager to do so in January when they signed Lindsay.
Steve Evans, the manager of Rotherham, has finally addressed the matter, telling the Rotherham Advertiser that Lindsay was looking for a contract that he was simply unable to deliver.
If Lindsay hadn’t gone above and beyond what the Millers boss thought was fair compensation, Evans believed Rotherham would have kept him on board.
It’s interesting to note that Evans, who believes Lindsay will be joining a League One competitor, projected that he will “probably” play against Rotherham next season.
That might be Wrexham, and some might interpret Evans’ remarks as a sign that they should transfer to the STōK Cae Ras.
“We would’ve retained Jamie.” He was a terrific guy, and we had some good meetings,” Evans remarked. “He requested terms that I wasn’t ready to request from the board.” That is all there is to it. I will always adore the child, and I’m sure he will play against us the following season.
He continued, “It was lovely to work with him for a few weeks, but now he moves on. He’s real Scottish blood like myself.

Would Lindsay and Leonard be signed by Wrexham?
The fact that Wrexham is going from the National League to League One so quickly means that they will need to make improvements to the team all over the field.
This summer, Parkinson might want to bring in two midfielders: a financial deal for an emerging player like Leonard and an established free agent in Lindsay.
That would leave some players on the outside looking in, but it would also give Wrexham some excellent alternatives in the midfield.
Due to injuries, James Jones missed the last two months of the season, while Jordan Davies only played a supporting role in 2024.
The departures of Tozer, Hayden, and Young have already shown that Wrexham may need to be merciless in order to advance.
Parkinson might make the move and significantly enhance his midfield options going forward if Wrexham is able to sign both Lindsay and Leonard.
