Following their Premier League survival, Nottingham Forest fired 13 players, with one player quitting the game right away.
Nottingham Forest has announced that thirteen players will be leaving the team.
The retained list of Nottingham Forest has been revealed after the 23/24 season.
All things considered, Forest’s campaign had been difficult since they had to work extremely hard to maintain their Premier League standing following their points deduction.
Nuno Espirito Santo’s team ultimately finished in 17th position, six points ahead of Luton Town, and was able to remain up.
As they released their retained list, Forest now confirmed some exits during the next summer.
A statement on their official website stated: “The contracts of six senior players—Felipe, who also announced his retirement from football—have ended: Wayne Hennessey, Felipe, Scott McKenna, Loïc Mbe Soh, Harry Arter, and Wayne Kouyaté.
“As they start new chapters ahead of the 2024–25 season, seven academy players—Kevin Adueni, Tony Gbopo, Ethan Hull, Ateef Konaté, Henry Lister, Elijah Morgan, and Theo Robinson—will also leave the club.”
The statement went on, “The team would like to extend its gratitude to each player for their contributions throughout their tenure on Trentside and best wishes for the future.
“With the end of the season, the loan agreements involving Nuno Tavares, Rodrigo Ribeiro, Gio Reyna, Divock Origi, and Gonzalo Montiel have ended.”
