DAYTEVILLE, Arkansas Deke Adams, the defensive line coach for the Razorbacks, is still loading his position group for the 2025 cycle. After his official visit, defensive end Trent Sellers declared his commitment to Arkansas on Sunday night, according to his X account. He is the class’s fifteenth pledge.
I’m excited to announce my official commitment to the Arkansas Razorbacks after a fantastic weekend in Arkansas! @CoachSamPittman @RazorbackFB @CoachDekeAdams @CoachS_Pugh @erik_speakman #WPS #ONERazorback tweet.com/u9YhFXuIf6
Trent Sellers, on Twitter: (@TrentSellers10) June 24, 2024: Despite offers from Mississippi State, Ole Miss, and Nebraska, sellers selected Arkansas. For the native of Alabama, the Bulldogs were the leaders, but the Razorbacks managed to make an impression.
At 6-foot-6, 233 pounds, with an estimated wingspan of 85 inches, he has good size to make an impact against Power Four conference opponents.
With a 3-star ranking, he is a defensive end ranked No. 25 in his class and No. 15 in Alabama who attends Faith Academy in Mobile. Sellers recorded 69 tackles, 10 tackles for loss, and five sacks during his strong junior campaign.
Three more defensive lineman have joined Arkansas in the last week, demonstrating the depth of their recent recruiting activity. Since last Sunday, Caleb Bell (Alpharetta, Georgia), Keiundre Jordan (Terrell, Texas), and JaQuinten Madison have joined.
Antonio Jordan, another wide receiver from Warren who has made the decision to go to the SEC since Bo Hembree took over as head coach of the Lumberjacks at the beginning of the century, committed to the Razorbacks.
In terms of numbers, it will move Arkansas closer to the Top 25. For perspective, it would be excellent to include a couple of their highly regarded prospects who are expected to commit shortly.
