On day one of the portal opening, freshmen Curtis Williams and Kaleb Glenn, along with Koron Davis, who was dismissed from the team in mid-December, all announced their intentions to transfer from Louisville.
Walkon guard Hercy Miller has not announced intentions for next season.
Skyy Clark became the first from Louisville to commit elsewhere, announcing for UCLA on April 3. The following day, Brandon Huntley-Hatfield committed to NC State. Tre White committed to Illinois on April 9. JJ Traynor has elected to use his extra year of eligibility and committed DePaul on April 15. Curtis Williams landing spot is Georgetown, he announced on April 20. Mike James will stay in the ACC by transferring to NC State, while Kaleb Glenn is headed to FAU. Dennis Evans will transfer to Grand Canyon. Danilo Jovanovich is returning to his hometown to play for.
Louisville walkon guard Hercy Miller has entered the transfer portal.
Miller, the son of Master P, began his college career at Tennessee State, where he played in six games before injury sidelined him for the season. He joined Louisville prior to the 2022-23 season.
Miller appeared in 27 games during two seasons at UofL, logging three starts this past season. He scored a total of 59 points during his time with the Cardinals. His season ended early in 2023-24 so that he could have surgery to repair a hip injury.
Emmanuel Okorafor spent two seasons at Louisville. The 6-foot-9 forward/center came to UofL via NBA Academy Africa during the 2022-23 season, appearing in just five games as he made the adjustment to college basketball and the United State. He played in 20 games this past season, averaging 2.4 points and 2.6 rebounds per game.
Okorafor, a native of Lagos, Nigeria, scored a season-high eight points against UMBC to go with a season-best six rebounds. He also totaled six rebounds against Clemson.
Okorafor arrived from NBA Academy Africa in Senegal, where he was also one of 12 NBA Academy prospects chosen to participate in the Basketball Africa League’s Elevate program. The BAL, a professional league
