By late June and early July of 2023, FSU football witnessed an explosive growth in its recruiting class for 2024. After having their biggest recruiting weekend, the Noles appear to be in a similar situation towards the end of June 2024. Over the weekend, some of FSU’s top targets were on campus. The coaching staff has been using this successful technique for the past few summers to build momentum heading into the summer and autumn camp, which includes the December Early Signing Period.
Despite having four blue chip recruits commit to the Noles in their 2025 recruiting class, the squad is ranked 70th overall in the composite rankings. FSU will attempt to maintain its improvement in terms of high school recruits after having a top 20 recruiting class in 2023 and a top 12 class in 2024. How much will FSU’s No. 70 ranking change in the coming month?
A great deal.
Over the course of the next month, FSU is expected to add at least five or more pledges. They would easily break into the top 25 with nearly any combination of those five players who have a tilt toward FSU. It will depend on who those additions are. Within the last week, the Noles have gotten crystal ball predictions for a number of elite players. In the 2025 recruiting class, every program in the top 25 rankings has at least 11 commitments. Once more, FSU is currently involved in four events.
With a strong core of talent on their roster and an undefeated regular season in 2023, FSU can afford to be picky. If those projects don’t perform well on the field this autumn, other targets might be committed to other initiatives that might take a different turn. I am aware that supporters are still interested in learning the rankings of the recruiting class. But focus more on the positions that get high-caliber hires. Thus far, there appear to be a few game-changers among the incoming class of 2025.
