After adding Justin Fields and Russell Wilson to their roster in the summer, the Pittsburgh Steelers now have two quarterbacks in the lineup. Fields appears to still have a chance to be the starting quarterback in 2024, even though Wilson is now predicted to start for the Steelers in the opening week of the league.
Nevertheless, Fields didn’t help himself when he had accuracy issues during the most recent minicamp, per insider Ray Fittipaldo (via Steeler Nation).
One of the main criticisms leveled at Justin Fields upon his arrival was his accuracy. Can he consistently place the ball where it has to be? Based solely on observation and conversations with those within the building, there seemed to be a small problem with that.
Will Justin Fields advance in the Pittsburgh Steelers’ system?

Fields completed a career-high 61.4 percent of his passes in 2023, his final season with the Chicago Bears. He tossed for 2,562 yards and 16 touchdowns with nine interceptions. In light of Wilson’s position on the depth chart, the Steelers are hoping that Fields will become even better and more effective in his new surroundings.
