Since 2014, the Ohio State Buckeyes, Penn State Nittany Lions, or Michigan Wolverines have won the Big Ten.
Who will win the conference in 2024 is the question that PFF College put up. An image of Michigan, Ohio State, Oregon, Penn State, and USC was shared on social media to start a discussion.
This season, the Big Ten will appear very different from previous years. Washington, USC, Oregon, and UCLA will all be joining members.
Dillon Gabriel, an Oklahoma transfer, has a lot of expectations from one Oregon fan. He predicted that Gabriel would win the Heisman Trophy and lead Oregon to a Big Ten championship.
“Oregon. This season, Dillon Gabriel is going to win the Heisman Trophy,” the fan retorted.
With Gabriel added, the Ducks will be trying to improve on previous year. Gabriel finished the previous season with 30 touchdowns and 3,660 yards passing for Oklahoma.
Many fans also picked Michigan and Ohio State to win the conference. Conversely, Penn State was not well-liked by supporters. Supporters argued over who among the newcomers would win the Big Ten.
If Michigan were to win their fourth straight conference championship, it would be remarkable. Sherrone Moore is the head coach of the Los Angeles Chargers, where Jim Harbaugh now plays in the NFL.
The NFL Draft took a lot of talent away from the Wolverines as well. Among those chosen were JJ McCarthy, Blake Corum, Junior Colson, and Karsen Barnhart.
