Following the announcement yesterday of the start of a new five-year broadcast agreement between the EFL and Sky Sports, several of Luton Town’s Saturday games may now kick off at 12.30 p.m.
The Hatters’ opening day matchup against Burnley at home has already been selected for television coverage. Rob Edwards’ team will find out in the next few days if any additional games will be shown live, enabling fans to arrange their travel schedules as soon as possible. “Starting in 2024/25, the EFL and its Clubs will enter into a record domestic rights deal with broadcaster Sky Sports worth £935 million over a five-year period,” the league announced in a statement.
