The sophomore from Alabama had his eye on the door while Bama coach Patrick Murphy was occupied with promoting Mudita and his so-called “Hitting Coach,” Adam Arbour, was squandering a year “building relationships.”
When Murphy was questioned about the work his best friend’s assistant had completed this year, Caveman Pat had the following to say:
Murphy remarked, “I think it was a good year for building relationships.” Someone fresh. We had, I believe, five sophomores in the starting lineup by the end of the game. As a team, we are still young. He gains knowledge from them as well as from them from him, the more they learn from him. An automated relationship is not possible. You can use the automatic ordering system at Panera. Relationships cannot be automated. That is not something you can do. One-on-one interactions will begin.
He performed admirably, in my opinion, in the early fall. However, since each hitter is unique, you have to develop that trust with them. Their methods diverge. They play distinct mental games. You must acquire knowledge. We had sixteen. He needs to understand the characters of sixteen distinct individuals and what drives them. You have to find out what drives them. That will only continue to improve steadily over time.
What a bunch of shit****. The figures are not deceptive. Alabama’s offensive output was essentially cut in half, and the team performed worse across the board in every statistical category.
It’s likely that Cahalan knew the lineup for Team 29 will be a complete jumble for the upcoming season. For two seasons, the native of Trussville, Alabama, started every game as the Tide’s shortstop. This season, the incoming junior led the Tide in multiple offensive statistics and was among the most reliable hitters.
In the near future, expect her to win SEC POY for someone else.

Prior to his official visit with Alabama football, Rylon Dillard-Allen revealed his top four schools on Monday.
Dillard-Allen is a four-star defensive back prospect from Phoenix, Arizona’s Mountain Pointe High School who could be drafted in 2025. The four-star recruit’s top four lists include UCLA, Texas A&M, Alabama, and Washington.
Dillard-Allen is paying an official visit to UCLA. This next weekend, Alabama will host after making him an offer last month.
Dillard-Allen remarked, “This is one of those offers you dream about as a kid.”
Mountain Pointe High School’s multisport athlete is the new objective for Alabama. He supposedly has a 4.29 40-meter sprint PR and holds a 10.8 100-meter dash PR. When he closes on the football with an explosive burst to break up the play or deliver a major hit, his speed on the gridiron is evident.
At the conclusion of his junior year, Dillard-Allen recorded 40 tackles, two interceptions, and two forced fumbles.
