Queta’s impressively well-rounded performance spearheaded the Boston Celtics to an 88-74 victory over the Los Angeles Lakers in an NBA 2K25 Summer League battle at Thomas and Mack Center in Las Vegas on Monday night.
After a tightly contested first quarter from which the Celtics emerged with a narrow 19-17 lead over the Lakers.
Boston was dominant on both ends of the floor during the second period on the way to building a 16-point halftime advantage.
The two clubs each scored a modest 15 points during a third quarter in which defense took center stage, and Los Angeles was never able to get closer than within 10 points over the final 10 minutes.
Queta led the Celtics with 22 points, adding eight rebounds and three blocks. Jahmi’us Ramsey delivered 13 points, three rebounds and one assist.
Drew Peterson furnished 12 points, five boards and three assists. Jordan Walsh and J.D.
Davison contributed nine points apiece while recording six rebounds and seven assists, respectively. Walsh added three steals among his other contributions.
Rookie first-round pick Dalton Knecht paced the Lakers with 19 points, supplementing them with three rebounds, two assists, three steals and one block.
Maxwell Lewis registered 13 points, three rebounds, two assists, one steal and one block.
Moses Brown supplied 11 points, six rebounds and one block.
Both teams return to action Wednesday, with the Celtics facing the Charlotte Hornets and the Lakers tangling with the Atlanta Hawks.
