The signing of Damien Cook for the 2025 and 2026 seasons is proudly announced by the Dragons.
Cook, a junior at the Helensburgh Tigers, played two NRL games for the Dragons in 2013 before making his NRL debut.
Since then, the 32-year-old has played in 205 NRL games, two seasons with the Bulldogs and nine with the Rabbitohs. He has established himself as one of the best No. 9s of the modern era. Additionally, he has appeared in four Test matches for Australia and 17 Origins for NSW.
“Having a player of Damien’s caliber return to our club is wonderful,” Dragons head coach Shane Flanagan said.
“He brings a wealth of experience and offensive ability to our roster in the upcoming seasons. His qualities as a football player and person are top class.”
