Jake Matthews and Kaleb McGary are the two dependable starting offensive tackles for the Atlanta Falcons. Matthews has participated in 161 straight games over his 11 years in the league. McGary, who is in his sixth year in the league, was injured last season and missed three games.
Outside of Matthews, the Falcons’ left tackle depth is lacking. Last season, Storm Norton filled in for McGary at right tackle, playing the position of swing tackle. With 1,568 of 1,755 offensive snaps played during his career, Norton has spent the majority of his time at RT.
Although Tyler Vrabel didn’t play much in his first two seasons, according to PFF, he played 54 of 57 offensive snaps at LT in 2023.
A previous seventh-round pick was claimed by the Falcons in an attempt to improve their offensive line depth.

Last Monday, Andrew Stueber was waived by the New England Patriots, and the Falcons claimed him off of waivers.

Since the Falcons acquired Stueber off waivers, they are still in possession of his contract; as a result, he is signed to a one-year, $795,000 deal with the Falcons and will become an ERFA at the end of the 2024 campaign.
After two NFL seasons, Andrew Stueber has yet to play a regular-season snap.

In the 7th round of the 2022 NFL Draft, 245th overall, Andrew Stueber was selected by the New England Patriots.
Due to injuries sustained during his rookie season, Stueber hasn’t played a single regular-season snap in his first two seasons. He also spent the most of his second season on the practice squad.
Due to a hamstring tear sustained in the offseason, Stueber was unable to play in his debut season.

In his second season, the Patriots cut Stueber during roster cuts and re-signed him to the practice squad. He was added to their active roster for their last two games, having played the majority of the season on their practice squad. Sadly, he was not allowed to play in either of the two games.
Andrew Stueber will face competition to make the roster.
