Remark
The departure of former Barnsley attacker Kayden Jackson has been confirmed by Ipswich Town.
Jackson was born in Bradford and had a unique career path. As a young player, he played for Bradford City and Guiseley before switching to non-league football.
He rose through the ranks in a manner reminiscent of a fairy tale, and Ipswich recently celebrated their promotion to the Premier League. While he did not play for the Reds, he spent time back in Yorkshire with Barnsley on his way to become the Champion.

“I didn’t know what was to come and, while it’s certainly been a journey, I will always be extremely proud to have played for this brilliant club,” Jackson said in a farewell statement.
I will always remember being able to contribute to our club’s promotion from League One to the Premier League, which has made the previous two seasons in particular incredibly memorable.
“I’ll always be proud to have finished my time with the team on such a high note, surrounded by an incredible group of teammates and a manager who has always stood by me.” I shall always hold a particular place in my heart for Ipswich Town, and I hope the best for everyone going forward.”

Along with Dominic Ball, a former midfielder for Rotherham United, he was released, and Kieran McKenna, the manager of Tractor Boys, paid respect to the two players who were leaving.
Kayden and Dominic have both been crucial players of a team that has had tremendous success over the last two seasons, according to McKenna. Both have made significant contributions both on and off the field, helping to establish standards and foster a culture that have been crucial to the advancement of the team. It would be incorrect to downplay their contributions to what the team has accomplished.
“I am certain both Kayden and Dominic will be real assets at whichever clubs they take the next steps in their careers and they will always be welcome at both Portman Road and Playford Road.”
