R&B newcomer Ebubé calls a meeting to his bedroom in his seductive new song “Lay With Me,” out via Lionbear Records.
The British singer wrote and produced the amatory track, which features a mix of English and French lyrics. “Hold you so close / When I hear you say oui (Mon bébé, dis-moi oui) / So take off your clothes (Just take ’em off) / And just lay with me,” he croons.
“I wanted to make a song that evoked the feeling of yearning to be close to someone,” explains Ebubé. “‘Lay With Me’ does that, illustrating the sentiment you have on those nights you wish you were somewhere else.”

“Lay With Me” follows Ebubé’s solo debut single, “Where I Wanna Be,” released in February.
Regarding the latter track, he explained, “Feeling stuck in a place in life is such a restricting feeling, where sometimes you don’t know where to direct your emotions. ‘Where I Wanna Be’ is a representation of that frustration, especially when you want to become better for someone else.”
Both tracks will appear on Ebubé’s debut project, which currently does not have a release date.
Before embarking on his solo journey, he was a founding member of the emerging U.K. R&B group No Guidnce. The quartet emerged in 2023 with their debut EP, Is It A Crime?, which included their popular title track.
In December 2024, Ebubé released a double single — “New Chapter, Hello” and “For You, Love” — to gear his fans up for his solo journey.
